Picking up the Pace.....

Over the last couples of months... I have been performing a labor of Love that took me out of the running game and community. To add insult to injury the last two weeks it was completely shut down. The phrase "cabin fever" at is an understatement! lol. All my fellow runners post were like tiny daggers directed at me (but I know that wasn't true)....it just seemed they were running miles ahead of me.

God will always have a better plan...

Today I hit my boiling point as I begin to yell and scream for my fix. Then I looked my labor of love directly in it's sweet little face and conviction set in. The lord reminded me that he works all things out for our good... he knows our needs and our wants, but just like our loving father he wants to give us so much more. Inevitably, we may have to take the scenic route or sit on the sideline for a moment, but it is ..just.. for a moment. By the way, isn't this thing suppose to be about him? Yes, but we reap the benefits of being obedient to his plan, anyways I wouldn't trade the opportunity to receive divine instruction or unadulterated love for a million bucks! If we hold on no matter how tough.... we will eventually reap a bountiful harvest if we do not faint.

Consistent walking and running God's way means... I can have my "Cake" and eat it too. Even better, now I know how to share.

I can't wait to walk with a new found love, as well as burn up the running trails with a profound appreciation!!! We have a lot of catching up to do <3
